Prior Design Takes BMW 1-Series Coupe to the Gym

If you need your regular BMW 1-Series to stand out from the crowd, German aftermarket specialist Prior-Design has cooked up a new dish for the non-M models of the compact coupe as well as its convertible variants.

The new widebody styling kit apes the looks of the 1-Series M Coupe with bloated front and wheel arches, combined with matching M-style front and rear bumpers, a vented hood, and side skirts at a price of €2,999 (about US$4,000 at today's exchange rates), not including fitting.

If you liked the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Edition and at the same time, don't care much about the performance aspects, Prior Design has developed a styling package that can turn your regular C-Class Coupe into a looker.

The German tuner's aero kit mimics the looks and styling of the original C63 AMG Coupe Black Edition adding a new front with an integrated lip spoiler, a wide rear bumper with a diffusor, side skirts, wide front and rear wheel fenders and hood vents.

Prior Design is a German tuner that specializes on the development of bespoke aerodynamic kits, alloy wheels, and exhaust systems for a variety of cars ranging from the MINI hatchback all the way up to Lamborghini models such as the 2003-2008 Gallardo, which is the company's latest object of desire.

The aftermarket company has designed a wide-body kit named PD-L800 with all parts made from Dura-Flex FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic).

Prior Design has its Way with the BMW 6-Series F12/F13

If you're not fully content with the way your new BMW 6-Series Coupe (F13) or Convertible (F12) looks, Germany's Prior Design may be able to spice it up for you with a new aero body package.

Among the available pieces are a front bumper spoiler piece priced at €1,190 (US$1,480 at today's exchange rates), M-style side skirts that cost €790 (US$980) and a rear apron with a diffuser that will set you back €980 (US$1,220) for a grand total of €2,960 (US$3,680).

Given that the first examples of BMW’s new 6-Series Convertible will begin arriving in dealerships this spring followed by the Coupe model in the fall, it doesn't come to much of a surprise that tuners have started working on their packages for the Bavarian GT.
